April to September
Dine, Stay, Tour & Taste
Here’s your definitive guide to everything on offer this summer at Rathfinny Wine Estate.
Please note, our summer experiences have now finished. Sign up to our newsletter to be notified about our seasonal tours, dining experiences and short break packages.
Back by popular demand, but featuring a different menu to last summer, our Vineyard Picnics are available to book every Wednesday-Sunday.
Set on the secluded Flint Barns bank overlooking the Vineyard, guests can enjoy outdoor picnic hampers whilst soaking up the English summer sunshine (hopefully!) with a bottle of Sussex Sparkling wine. Tables and chairs provided.
Dine at the Tasting Room
Our Michelin Plate restaurant, located within our Winery, serves a menu of modern British cuisine. Head Chef, Chris Bailey and his team will be back, serving two and three-course lunches, Wednesday to Sunday, and tasting-menu experiences every Friday and Saturday evening.
If you would rather plan an impromptu visit and enjoy a more substantial bite, drop-by the Flint Barns and enjoy our antipasti plates, available to enjoy al fresco with a bottle of Sussex Sparkling wine on our grassy bank overlooking the vines. No need to pre-book.
Flint Barns Dining Room
This year we’ll be opening the Flint Barns Dining Room for evening meals, Wednesday – Saturday. Expect hearty, comforting and generous dishes in a relaxed setting.
Summer Estate Tours
Join us this summer for a tour of the Estate, where you will see how we turn our grapes into Sussex wines. During this enjoyable tour, you will learn how a typical year of growing vines and wine production progresses. Among the highlights are a visit to our RIBA nominated Winery to learn the process and care involved in making high quality sparkling wines, concluding with a guided tasting of our Sussex wines.
Visit the Cellar Door
Our Cellar Door shop is open everyday, 10am – 5pm so you can shop all of our Sussex wines and spirits. Don’t forget to pick up an Estate map to explore our walking trail. Dogs welcome!
