WINTER TOUR & TASTING
Time. 10.30am and 1pm every Saturday and Sunday | Duration. 1hr 45mins in total | Price. £25 per person
Visit our Cellar Door shop daily and one of experienced tasting guides can take you through a complimentary tasting of our wines so you can try before you purchase. Subject to availability at time of arrival.
Harvest Blending Tasting
We are delighted to offer a new and unique wine tasting experience this harvest. Learn about the history of Rathfinny and taste your way through the many steps it takes to make Traditional Method sparkling wine. Enjoy a walk among the vines with your tour guide (weather permitting) who will give you a first-hand insight into the progression of our harvest before sitting down for a blending tasting. In total you will taste four to five base wines (and try blending them together to make your own cuvée), before finally tasting a selection of four of our Sussex wines to gain an insight in the job of a winemaker.

Winter Portfolio Tastings
SELF-GUIDED WALKING TRAIL
If you wish to explore the Estate in your own time, visit our Cellar Door during opening hours to collect a walking map and enjoy a self-guided tour of the Estate. Maps can also be downloaded via the button below. The walking map also includes the Rathfinny Trail which can be walked as part of a larger walk in the area, in its entirety or by starting at the Cellar Door or Flint Barns.
Terms & conditions
Wine Tours will continue to run in the event of inclement weather, unless it is deemed unsafe by Rathfinny Wine Estate, in which case you will be offered a credit note. Rathfinny reserves the right to postpone tours as required. We recommend that suitable outdoor activity clothing and footwear is worn. Payment for Tours is due at the time of booking. Tickets are non-refundable, however, we may be able to transfer them to an alternative date with a minimum of four weeks’ notice. We request that everyone maintains social distancing measures throughout the tour and uses the hand sanitiser provided.
If you wish to dine in the Tasting Room restaurant following your tour this must be booked separately in advance and is subject to availability. Book here.
Dogs are not permitted on tours, unless they are guide-dogs.
We welcome walkers to the Estate. Please be aware of your safety and remember that we are a working vineyard, with heavy machinery, and it is really important that you:
- Keep to the path
- Follow the signs at all times
- Keep dogs on leads and clear up their mess
- Take care when crossing roads
- Follow the countryside code
Please park only in designated car parks and not in lay-bys, which are constantly in use.
