Rathfinny 2019 Blanc de Noirs is our signature English Sparkling Wine, produced from predominantly Pinot Noir grapes grown and hand-harvested on the Rathfinny Wine Estate.

Due to a limited production, only three bottles are available per customer.

A rose gold hue and nose of sweet Russet apples. A mouth-filling palate of summer fruits with a long, zesty, saline, plum compôte finish.

The 2019 growing season got off to an early start and despite the ever-present risk of late spring frost, we were hopeful for a repeat of 2018. We experienced record breaking temperatures during late July and a very warm August, but a wet end to September and October. The fruit survived and produced some lovely wines, despite the soggy picking conditions.
