Seasonal Chefs
We are looking for chefs to join the hospitality team at Rathfinny Wine Estate during our summer season as we continue to expand the catering offer across the Estate.
We are looking for flexible, hard-working staff who have a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
We can offer training, a stunning location, flexible hours (part time and full time), exposure to cooking in one of Sussex’s finest hospitality offerings and a very good level of service charge on top of hourly rate split equally amongst staff.
Various positions you could be working in:
- Tasting Room fine dining restaurant
- Flint Barns restaurant
- High end picnic offering
- Walk in light bites and beverages at The Hut

Estate Chef de Partie
We are looking for a full time chef de partie to work across the Estate in all catering departments. Start date is required as soon as possible.
Key requirements:
- Experience in fine quality dining, working with fresh produce
- Good attitude and ability to work cooperatively in a small team
- Own transport required to travel to the Vineyard

Tasting Room Restaurant Supervisor
The key requirements of this role are to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience for all guests visiting Rathfinny Wine Estate, by providing a consistent and high-quality standard of food, beverage and accommodation service. To oversee the team in the absence of the Assistant Manager and guide them through pre-service preparation, service and clear down.
Key requirements
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and outstanding experiences.
- Staff are to be presentable, ensuring that standards of personal hygiene and appearance demonstrate a professional image for our guests.
- To ensure the team are following the opening/closing and daily procedures checklist.
- Maintaining the clean, tidy and attractive consumer-facing areas and Back of House areas.
- To ensure that mise-en-place is ready for service (glassware, cutlery etc).
- To run pre-service briefings in the absence of the Assistant Manager with daily updates about guest booking notes/from the kitchen team.
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location of our Estate

Flint Barns Dining Room Assistant Manager
The key requirements of this role are to lead the Flint Barns Front of House team to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience for all guests visiting Rathfinny Wine Estate, by providing a consistent and high-quality standard of food, beverage and accommodation service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience leading a team within a hospitality setting essential
- Minimum WSET Level 2 pass
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends & bank holidays
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location of our Estate
