Sarah’s blog…

I’m finding it quite hard to work out exactly what to say in light of the latest news and restrictions that are upon us. In fact, when I woke up this morning I asked Mark to find some good news out there, and there wasn’t one single story that was heartening! (Confession – I’ve taken to going straight to headlines of the more questionable papers that talk of alien invasions, if only just to get a smile.)

So like many of you, I suspect that we have to look to ourselves for the “good news”. Here are my highlights that have got me through the hardest times…

  • Our team at Rathfinny who have been, and continue to be, amazing.  Knowing that we are ‘all in this together’ and that we are all working towards making it through this hard time, has given both Mark and me enormous support.
  • The humour of friends and also of the wider public, irreverent at times, but the ability to laugh at ourselves has helped.
  • Our loyal (and new) customers, who continue to support us, who visit us when they can, who buy our wines and tell their friends to do so too – thank you.
  • Our grand-daughter, Peggy Rose, seen here dressed as an elf…

So I wish you a very merry Xmas and a happy New Year and remind you that drinking our Sussex Sparkling is one way to lift your spirits during this challenging time.

With love,
