The 2024 Vintage

The 2024 growing season was wetter than average, causing challenging conditions for wine producers across Northern Europe. However, at Rathfinny, due to careful Vineyard management, 250 local pickers were able to hand-select Sussex PDO-quality fruit to produce our Cradle Valley wines. Harvested throughout October to achieve ideal phenolic ripeness, our fruit was whole-bunch pressed before blending in January the following year and bottling in March.
