2022 Still Wines

As well as producing Sussex Sparkling wines, we also make a limited amount of Sussex still wine under the Cradle Valley label. We are delighted to present this unique case of still wines from the 2022 vintage when a very warm and dry summer, punctuated by timely rainfall, produced a harvest of great concentration and elegance.

2022 Cradle Valley Pinot Gris Close Up

Pinot Gris

Luminous yellow in colour with an opulent nose of honeysuckle and citrus fruit with a hint of pear, yielding an elegant apricot and peach palate, with a long saline finish. This wine would make a beautiful accompaniment to antipasti or chilli prawn linguine.

2022 Cradle Valley Pinot Noir Precoce Close Up

Pinot Noir Précoce

A beautifully aromatic, bright, ripe raspberry and cherry nose gives way to a palate of cranberries, with silky smooth tannins and a slight spicy, peppery finish. Pair with lamb, chicken or venison.

2022 Cradle Valley Rose Close Up

A glorious salmon pink with a pretty nose of wild strawberries and a vibrant fruit palate, with a backbone of raspberry and a hint of Bakewell tart, almond and melon.
Perfect to pair with a salade niçoise, shellfish or steamed crab meat dim sum.
