Is it me or did this half term holiday seem to come round really very quickly? Looking at the BBC weather forecast for the next week it looks like it could be bright and sunny, but chilly. That sounds like perfect weather for getting out and about – why not come and have a good ramble on the Rathfinny Trail and pop in to our café for a well-deserved hot drink and piece of cake or even come up for a tasty lunch? The café will be open 10am to 4pm every day over the half term period, why not lounge by a log fire with the daily newspapers.
We have more Sunday Roasts coming up this March, so if you’d like to have details and dates on these then please sign up for our Flint Barns email list, firstname.lastname@example.org. The dates are due to be emailed to the list of people who have asked to be informed of events taking place at the Flint Barns by the end of the week. Please note booking is essential for the Sunday Roasts.

Caudalie Cosmetics Event – Wednesday, 3rd March
Our exclusive grape-based cosmetics brand Caudalie is proving to be a real hit with Gun Room customers. Following last Autumn’s successful beauty evening, we shall be running two beauty workshops on Wednesday March 3rd. We’re fully booked for these and operating a waiting list, but should you be interested in future events please do not hesitate to contact the Gun Room team on 01323 870022. One of last year’s attendees said :
‘The best beauty event I have ever attended!’ so it’s worth signing up for.
The Caudalie range operates from a vineyard in France. Whilst our policy is to promote Sussex and English products where possible, Caudalie is such a high quality brand, and one which celebrates the unique restorative qualities of the grape we so love here at Rathfinny, we have made an honourable exception – and our customers seem to agree!
**Please note we encourage walkers onto the Estate. It’s fine to drive if you’re attending an event, or have pre-booked, just give us a ring if you’re popping in 01323 874030.
