PLANNING PERMISSION APPROVED
Rathfinny unveils major expansion of luxury vineyard accommodation. The approved plans will introduce six luxury ‘Grape Pickers' Huts’ in the old quarry overlooking the vineyard, alongside a new Stable Block featuring four guest bedrooms with private terraces offering views across the South Downs landscape. The popular Flint Barns accommodation and dining space will also be enhanced, with the addition of a new dining room and vineyard-facing terrace and extensive refurbishment of its existing guest rooms to create larger, more luxurious spaces.
2025 SUSSEX HARVEST CELEBRATIONS
Rathfinny Wine Estate announces a programme of harvest celebrations, combining wine tourism, gastronomy and seasonal experiences across the Estate. Highlights include Michelin-starred restaurant takeovers from Gaptrast, City Social and Kioku by Endo, an astronomy evening led by Jane Green FRAS, harvest dosage tastings and overnight vineyard escape packages. The release also highlights Rathfinny's sustainable harvest operations, including the use of a specialist falconry team to protect ripening grapes, while inviting visitors to experience the excitement of harvest in the South Downs.
