This slightly worn Bedstraw hawkmoth was found this morning in our moth trap. A wonderful moth and when it opens its wings shows some delightful pink touches on its underwings. For sizing, this ones wingspan was approximately 70mm.

This white winged wonder above with the pale gold furry headgear is the Ghost moth. Another lovely addition to add to our species list for the Estate. Not spooky at all.

I’m hopefully venturing out this evening (as it will be cooler) to see what is flowering on the Estate (not incl. our vines). I’ll be back soon with some images for you…
