Introducing our Cradle Valley Pinot Noir Précoce 2022 from Rathfinny’s still wine sister label. Our Cradle Valley collection is usually sold exclusively on our Estate, but we’re pleased to offer this release online for a limited time so you can enjoy a bottle wherever you are in the UK.
Our Cradle Valley collection expresses the character of our family Estate in Sussex, made with methods that are kind to our land, people, community and wider environment.
Tasting Note
A beautifully aromatic, bright, ripe raspberry and cherry nose gives way to a palate of cranberries, with silky smooth tannins and a slight spicy, peppery finish.
Food Match
An ideal pairing with lamb, chicken or venison. We’re looking forward to pairing the Pinot Noir Précoce with lamb rump in the Tasting Room or with a Flint Barns Sunday lunch.
The 2022 Vintage
A very warm and dry summer, punctuated by timely rainfall, produced a harvest of great concentration and elegance.
About Cradle Valley
Rathfinny Estate is located in the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Southern England. It occupies the main part of the Cradle Valley, on a south-facing slope close to the iconic Cuckmere Valley, just three miles from the sea and the famous Seven Sisters cliffs.
