- 10:30 a.m. – Arrival
- 10:45 a.m. – Introduction to Rathfinny followed by grape picking (or indoor tour of Bottling production facility if the weather is bad)
- 11:45 a.m. – Wine tasting: Blanc de Noirs 2019, Classic Cuvée 2019, Rosé Brut 2019, Cradle Valley Still Rosé 2023
- 12:15 p.m. – Lunch, hosted by Mark & Sarah Driver
- 14:15 p.m. – Finish
The Tour & Tasting
Venture into the Vineyard with one of our experienced guides to pick some grapes and learn how hand-harvesting ensures that only the best quality fruit goes into our Sussex wines. Many hands make light work so you’ll then be ready for a guided tasting of four of our Sussex wines in our Michelin-recommended Tasting Room. The experience will conclude with a seasonal three-course lunch with an optional wine flight.
In the event of poor weather, instead of grape picking, you will be taken on a behind-the-scenes tour of our state-of-the-art Bottling building.
Lunch Menu
After your tasting, you will be seated on a long table in the Tasting Room to enjoy a delicious three-course set menu lunch hosted by Mark & Sarah Driver. Please let us know if you require a vegetarian or gluten free menu. We will be unable to cater for any other dietary requirements for this event. If you have any allergies please let us know during the booking process.

10th Harvest Anniversary Celebrations
Each year, Rathfinny welcomes more than 200 British pickers, predominantly from the local Sussex community, to hand-pick each grape. This is an essential element to maintaining quality as we are a single-site, grower-producer crafting Traditional Method vintage wines with Sussex PDO status.
2024 marks 10 years since the first harvest at Rathfinny. To celebrate, we are co-hosting a series of wine dinners around the country during the harvest season between September and October.
Rathfinny is a gastronomy wine that is best enjoyed with food, so we’re collaborating with a range of chefs to bring you the best pairing combinations. You will sample our Sussex Sparkling portfolio (plus a surprise or two) over dinner as we share our story from grape to glass over the past decade.
