THE ESTATE
A much-loved wine tourism destination, Rathfinny Wine Estate is one of the UK’s most picturesque vineyards.
Located in the village of Alfriston in East Sussex, the 600-acre estate is home to our vineyard and our RIBA-nominated winery. Visitors can enjoy a glass of Sussex at the Estate, either on a tour & tasting, at our al fresco wine bar, The Hut, or in our lovingly restored Flint Barns Dining Room.

A stone’s throw from the Seven Sisters, up the Cuckmere Valley, lies Rathfinny Wine Estate. Our vines are rooted in the same Sussex chalk that arcs up from the Paris Basin to form the South Downs: one of the great terroirs for growing exceptional sparkling.
Cool sea breezes let our fruit ripen long into the autumn, so a glass of Sussex captures the character of this coastal terroir: vibrant, fresh and precise. Every grape is grown on our single-site Estate; hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and matured to the Sussex PDO standard.
