Cradle Valley Pinot Noir Précoce 2023
£21.00 – £210.00
£21.00 – £210.00
Introducing our Cradle Valley Pinot Noir Précoce 2023 from Rathfinny’s sister label. Our still wine collection showcases our commitment to exceptional quality, with each vintage crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on the south-facing chalk slope of Cradle Valley.
Please note, due to limited quantities this wine is only available in our Mixed Cradle Valley Case.
Our Cradle Valley collection expresses the character of our family Estate in Sussex, made with methods that are kind to our land, people, community and wider environment.
Tasting Note
A plum cherry red appearance and a bright, crunchy nose of red summer fruits, cherry and herbal notes, translating to raspberry and wild strawberry on the palate. The finish shows sweet fine tannins and a hint of cranberry.
Food Match
Match with light game, poultry, salads, light fresh pasta dishes and Sussex charcuterie or cheeses. We’ve recently been enjoying pairing the Pinot Noir Précoce with beef tartare in the Tasting Room.
The 2023 Vintage
The very warm spring of 2023 gave way to a wet summer, but a warm late summer period pulled through and yielded a sizeable harvest of ripe grapes.
