About Kioku by Endo

Kioku, meaning memory, is a celebration of Japanese culinary tradition infused with a spirit of contemporary creativity. Inspired by the flavours and techniques of Yokohama and Tokyo, its dishes marry the elegance and precision of classic Japanese cooking with globally influenced touches.

Perched atop the Old War Office in London, the rooftop restaurant has recently become a home-from-home for Rathfinny, with our wines featuring on their terrace this summer.

Rathfinny and Japanese Cuisine

Made from grapes grown just three miles from the sea, Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling wines have a natural freshness and subtle salinity which pair perfectly with the delicate complexity of Japanese cuisine.

Grape picking in England

Harvest at Rathfinny

Each year, Rathfinny welcomes British pickers, predominantly from the local Sussex community, to hand-harvest each grape. This is an essential element to maintaining quality as we are a single-site, grower-producer crafting vintage wines with Sussex PDO status.

2025 marks 11 years since the first harvest at Rathfinny. To celebrate, we are welcoming a range of chefs from interesting restaurants where our wines are served to bring you new pairing combinations.

After all, Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling is a gastronomy wine that is best enjoyed with food.
