Experience Overview

Experience the Rathfinny Wine Estate during the golden hours.

On this enjoyable tour, you will walk into the vines and learn how a typical year of growing grapes and wine production progresses. Among the highlights are a visit to our RIBA nominated winery to learn the process and care involved in making high quality sparkling wines.

The tour will conclude with a guided tasting of a selection of our Sussex wines overlooking the vineyard. The vintages you will taste may be subject to change, but you will try four wines across our Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling portfolio and Cradle Valley still wines.

Our Flint Barns restaurant will be open for dinner, perfectly timed for you to book a table from 6.45pm when the tour ends. To reserve a table, please call our reservations team or book online.

Please note children and dogs are not permitted on our Tour & Tasting experiences (except assistance dogs). All tours start at the Cellar Door. We are a working Estate and suitable footwear is advised.

What happens in the event of poor weather?

We will spend less time in the vineyard and more time in the winery facilities. The tasting will take place on the balcony if the weather is nice, or inside if it is poor.

How can I make amendments to my booking?

Bookings can be changed to an alternative date if a request is received seven days or more prior to the date of the tour. Bookings can only be moved once.

What is your cancellation policy?

Payments will be refunded in full if a cancellation request is received at least seven days prior to the date of the tour. For requests received between 48 hours and six days’ notice, a partial refund of 50% of the total payment will be issued. For cancellation requests received with less than 48 hours’ notice, no refund will be offered; however, we will will be happy to transfer the original booking into another name.

Are children and dogs allowed on Tours?

Tours and Tastings are not recommended for people under the age of 18 due to the nature of the experience. If anybody under the age of 18 does attend, charges will apply. Please note that dogs are not permitted on our Tour and Tasting experiences (except when the dog is an assistance dog).
