Nathan Coley Exhibition

Discover six works by Turner Prize-shortlisted Nathan Coley presented in extraordinary places throughout the Sussex landscape.

From 2 April – 29th August 2022, six illuminated text sculptures by contemporary British artist Nathan Coley will be on display at surprising locations in and around the Lewes district of Sussex, forming ‘Tentative  Words Change Everything’: an outdoor exhibition featuring some of the artist’s most important works.

Rathfinny Wine Estate will be home to one of the works titled ‘A Place Beyond Belief,’ located on the breath-taking site that overlooks the Cuckmere Valley and English Channel that expands as far as the eye can see.

This is a free outdoor exhibition open to all. You could happily make a day or two of travelling between the locations, stopping for a refreshment at Rathfinny or exploring beautiful venues like Charleston.
