Rathfinny & Prept

Knowing how to cook and prepare healthy food is a skill that supports lifelong wellbeing. Over 2026, we’re proud to partner with Prept. Foundation, a wonderful charity that introduces young people from Sussex and beyond to the joys of cooking.

As part of the partnership, we’re sponsoring Prept’s 2026 Chef Collaboration Fundraising Dinner series which will bring some of the country’s best chefs together for remarkable culinary evenings.

About Prept

Prept. Foundation is a UK-registered charity that wants to realise the potential of homemade food in every household by providing the skills and knowledge of how to cook through connection to produce.

Prept do this through immersive cooking experiences for young people from primary and secondary schools. The sessions they run help set young people up with positive attitudes around food and cooking.

Why Rathfinny is Supporting Prept

As B Corp-certified winemaker supplying hotels and restaurants, as well as offering our own Wine Estate hospitality experiences, we understand how important it is for people to know where their food and drink comes from. This knowledge can go on to inform our social and environmental consciousness as well as making healthy choices that support our overall wellbeing.

By partnering with the Prept. Foundation, a Sussex-based charity, we’re proud to help promote food education within our local community and beyond.

This initiative includes schools such as Seaford Head Primary, whose Year Nine students we’ll be hosting alongside Prept for an educational session at Plumpton College in May 2026. We’re also sponsoring Prept’s 2026 Chef Collaboration Fundraising Dinner series, with guests starting their evening with a glass of Classic Cuvée 2019, the perfect aperitif for the finest foods.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Across the year, Prept will bring together ten leading chefs for six exceptional dinners to support Prept’s mission to inspire young people to live healthier and happier lives through food.

Guests will be starting these wonderful dinners with a glass of our aperitif-style Classic Cuvée, before enjoying some of our other wines alongside world-class dishes.
