Estate Housekeeper

We are looking for friendly individuals who are efficient, hands-on and have high standards of cleaning and hygiene to join our housekeeping team.

Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage though not essential as full training given. The successful candidate will need their own transport due to our rural location.

Minimum 18 hours per week with extra hours available to cover sickness and holiday.

Admin Assistant

We are currently looking for an admin assistant that will support our finance and HR team in the day to day, month-end financial activities and HR of this rapidly expanding business. We see this role as an exciting opportunity for someone to establish a longer term career path that will allow them to develop as the business grows.

Rathfinny Winery Building
6 Month Contract

Cellar Hand

Rathfinny Wine Estate is looking for a cellar hand to fulfill a 6 month contract, assisting in the production of our world-class Sussex Sparkling wines.

The role involves:

  • Blending, clarification, filtration, stabilisation activity.
  • Tirage preparation and bottling for secondary alcoholic fermentation.
  • Laboratory work.
  • Fruit receival and press operations.
  • Vintage winery activities including racking, transfers, additions.
  • Primary and malolactic fermentation management including inoculations and cultures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a winery and be able to handle all cellar and laboratory tasks. They will also be fit to handle pumps, hoses, grapes, bottles and additives (up to 16kg), be self-motivated and able to perform repetitive tasks at a good speed, have an eye for detail and confidence with record keeping and figures. They should also be enthusiastic about the production of Sussex Sparkling wines and enjoy working with a small team.

With our grape harvest taking place during October, we are always on the lookout for keen fruit pickers. If you have never picked grapes before, no worries. We take on plenty of new hands every year.

  • Full product and coffee training provided
  • 3-4 days a week available
