Private Celebrations at The Tasting Room
Overview. Overlooking the Vineyard and the South Downs, the Private Room in our Tasting Room is a stunning venue in the heart of the Vineyard, perfect for exclusive lunches and dinners for up to 12 people.
EXTRAS. We can help with transport and accommodation and sourcing decoration for your event.
CATERING. All of our meals are prepared and cooked on site by our Tasting Room Head Chef, sourcing as many of our ingredients as possible from local suppliers.

Private Celebration At The Flint Barns
OVERVIEW. We have lovingly restored and extended the original Rathfinny Farmhouse to create a ‘home away from home’ where you and your guests can enjoy all that the Flint Barns have to offer for you to host your special celebration.
ACCOMODATION. We have 10 en suite bedrooms sleeping up to 31 people.
CATERING. All of our meals are prepared and cooked on site and we source as many of our ingredients as possible from local suppliers. All of our meat, from prime beef to black pudding, comes from the Downland Butchers in East Dean and Dymock Farm, just over the hill, supplies our vegetables and eggs.
Corporate Event At Rathfinny
OVERVIEW. Whether you are looking for a corporate event to entertain clients, host a day’s meeting or time away with your team, Rathfinny can cater to your needs.
The Flint Barns, with its long communal tables, courtyard and more informal arrangement of rooms is very much a "home away from home". Superbly equipped, the Flint Barns offer break out areas which can be set out to suit your individual needs.
ACCOMMODATION. Split over three floors, we have 10 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 31 guests.
CATERING. We offer a range of catering, from home-cooked meals to bespoke fine-dining menus all using locally sourced, seasonal produce where possible.
EXTRAS. We can also organise transport, additional accommodation, a meal or drinks reception in our Private Room at the Tasting Room (numbers permitting), a tour of the Winery and Vineyard as well as other local highlights, such as a night with an astronomer or a kayak down the Cuckmere River.

Educational Trip At Rathfinny
OVERVIEW.The Flint Barns at Rathfinny are perfectly suited to host school groups across all age groups. From first time away from home primary children to prefect team building groups.
On site there’s a spacious snug filled with games and activities for children and adults alike, which is adjacent to the beautiful, large dining area. The lounge is cosy for the winter months and the courtyard provides a beautiful place to relax in the summer.
Staying at the Flint Barns will provide the opportunity to study the local area, the Cuckmere Valley, the South Downs, the white cliffs of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters from a historical, geological, geographical, environmental and vocational perspective. Nearby is Charleston, home of the Bloomsbury Group, who we work very closely with, as well as Eastbourne with its Towner Art Gallery and Lewes, Brighton and Hastings, offering further opportunities.
ACCOMMODATION. Split over three floors, we have 10 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to 22 people, which can be segregated into suitable dormitories allowing for a chaperone.
CATERING. All of our meals are prepared and cooked on site and we source as many of our ingredients as possible from local suppliers. All of our meat, from prime beef to black pudding, comes from the Downland Butchers in East Dean and Dymock Farm, just over the hill from the Estate, supplies our vegetables and eggs. Breakfast is served in the large ground floor dining room and our resident chef prepares all evening meals for service around 7.30pm, served in the family style of eating together– "a home away from home". This is a perfect way to discuss what you have done throughout the day.
SAFETY. We have all the necessary checks and procedures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of children and young people whilst staying at the Flint Barns as well as laundry facilities and a drying room for muddy boots.
